Orthodontics
If you suffer from crooked teeth and other jaw irregularities, our orthodontists can improve your smile. When most people think of straightening teeth, they think of metal braces. Bela Family Dentistry is proud to offer Clear Correct, the transparent alternative to traditional braces. Schedule your appointment today to find out if you could benefit from Clear Correct.

Endodontics
Preserving your natural teeth is always the preferred approach. Sometimes, a root canal or other endodontic procedures can save your tooth and prevent extraction. Bela’s endodontists are here to end your discomfort. We want you to give up pain, not your tooth.

Periodontics
Did you know that gum health is as important to your smile as it is the rest of your body? If you have gum disease, bacteria can spread to the rest of your systems, leading to a variety of health issues, including heart disease, diabetes, and stroke. If you have receding gums, loose or shifting teeth, or bleeding during brushing, make an appointment today.

Oral surgery
Oral surgeons specialize in procedures such as tooth extraction and bone grafting. Sometimes, if no other treatments are available, we will recommend having a tooth extracted. If you need to have teeth extracted or difficult-to-reach wisdom teeth removed, a Bela Family Dentistry oral surgeon can handle it without having to send you to a specialist at another office. We will work to keep you relaxed with just the right amount of sedation.
Straight Teeth Are Happy Teeth
The Alternative to Traditional Braces
A spectacular smile has several features. A complete set of healthy teeth is one. Consistently white teeth, unstained and unblemished, is another. The position of the teeth is just as important, however, if you want a perfect smile. Orthodontics has the solution. Without question, traditional metal braces can successfully shift teeth into their correct straight position. The downside is that while you’re wearing braces, the metal wires and brackets can dominate your smile, cause temporary speech limitations, and make you feel embarrassed in social situations. They also require good discipline to maintain. Let us reassure you that you can have straight teeth without going through any of those difficulties. At Bela Family Dentistry our acclaimed team is making this a reality every day for our patients with transparent orthodontic appliances.

ClearCorrect
An effective transparent orthodontics alternative, ClearCorrect operates similarly to Invisalign—with invisible plastic aligners that you keep in most of the day to accomplish the same stunning results. These are different in that they’re made in America and composed from a thinner material. They’re considered a more cost-effective option by many patients.
The Benefits of Clear Braces Are Obvious
- Inconspicuous teeth straightening
- Aligned bottom and top arches
- Clear speech
- More satisfying meal choices
- A comfortable bite
- Greater confidence during and after treatment
- Quick removal for mealtime and regular maintenance (aligners only)
Root Canals Preserve Natural Teeth
We End Your Discomfort
If you have extreme pain coming from deep inside one of your teeth, there are a few possible reasons. One is that you have a cavity and will need a filling. Another is that an infection has broken through your tooth enamel and spread into the pulp chamber, the part of the tooth where living tissues including nerves—which give your tooth sensation—and blood vessels are located. If your pulp chamber is infected, a simple filling won’t fix the problem. At the same time, it doesn’t mean that the tooth is in such poor condition that it must be extracted. With years of experience providing endodontics, our team can eradicate your pain and infection with root canal therapy rather than removing the entire tooth. In fact, that natural tooth may be even stronger after treatment.
Signs of Root Canal Infection
If you experience any of these symptoms, please give us a call right away:
- Debilitating tooth pain
- Heightened temperature sensitivity in your teeth
- Red, swollen gums
- Blisters or bumps on your gums
Saving a Dying Tooth from Extraction
Advanced imaging technology enables us to quickly identify root canal issues. Once we do so, we’ll set up an appointment for you to return to our office to have endodontic treatment. Before your surgery, you may have already suffered severe pain, so our first task is to alleviate your discomfort. We can provide various sedation options to ensure your treatment is as smooth and pain-free as possible. We not only consider your condition when selecting sedation, but also your degree of dental anxiety, if applicable. After you’re sedated, we access the infected pulp chamber by making an opening in the crown of the affected tooth. Inside we clear away all of the infected tissue, disinfect the area, then broaden and reshape the root canals, the slender channels in your tooth roots for which the treatment is named. We fortify the tooth by filling these channels with a unique dental material called gutta-percha. In most cases we then top the tooth with a new crown—conveniently fabricated during the same appointment with our own milling machine—to keep it strong through many more years of chewing and biting!
Gum Disease Endangers More Than Your Mouth
The Risks of Untreated Infection
You may think good dental health is only related to your mouth, but the truth is, it can impact the health of your entire body. If you have a condition like gum disease, the bacteria that causes the infection can travel throughout your system while doing permanent damage to your gums and bone. Without treatment, this persistent inflammation and disease can trigger other conditions including diabetes and heart disease and has even been linked to some pregnancy complications. As the leading cause of tooth loss, gum disease can spur significant oral health problems and endanger your overall systemic health too. For these reasons, it’s crucial to stay ahead of gum disease with regular visits to our office. If you’re already showing gum disease symptoms, we advise you to request an appointment immediately! We’ll help you conquer this chronic disease and reestablish your dental health with personalized gum disease treatments.
Do you realize that the health of your gum tissue can impact a broad range of issues from the esthetic beauty of your smile and the strength of your teeth to your greater systemic health? Even a disproportional “gummy” smile can elevate your chances of developing tooth decay below your gums. The incessant inflammation and disease associated with untreated gum disease can jeopardize your overall health, having been positively linked to diabetes, heart disease, and stroke in medical research. We can return your gums to full health and preserve your oral and physical health with several specialized periodontal therapies including gingivectomies! In our high-tech office, we provide extensive services by integrating advanced diagnostic and surgical equipment and techniques. Using our broad experience in periodontics, we’ll concentrate on your gums’ functional health without neglecting the esthetic enhancements that you’re hoping to see. Rely on us to tackle your periodontal troubles—set up your initial consultation at Bela Family Dentistry today!
The Results of Soft Tissue Treatment
- Reverse gum recession
- Preserve oral health after gum disease
- Remake a “gummy” smile
- Reclaim gum function and esthetics
- Protect gum tissue for the long term
To reliably support your teeth, your gums and bone must remain healthy. When bacteria begin to damage these tissues, it’s important that you request treatment to protect the foundation of your smile! At Bela Family Dentistry, we can offer surgery-free gum disease therapy that destroys the bacteria on your gums through a series of cleanings, medications, and dental scaling. Our modern ultrasonic scalers vibrate at a swift rate to efficiently clear your teeth of infection below the gumline. Sometimes ultrasonic treatment is all you need to reclaim good oral health. In cases where gum disease has progressed farther, we may have to remove diseased tissues and clear bacteria from the periodontal pockets and teeth through a surgical procedure. During your visit, we’ll identify your stage of gum disease and develop a customized treatment plan to match it.

Wisdom Tooth Removal
After Your Tooth Extraction
After a wisdom tooth extraction or after a tooth extraction that didn’t also include a dental implant, you can heal more quickly and minimize your risk of developing a dry socket by following established aftercare guidelines. Once a tooth is extracted, an empty space is left in the bone where the tooth roots used to be. This is known as a tooth socket. As part of the body’s natural healing process, a blood clot typically forms over an empty tooth socket. If this doesn’t happen, or does happen but the clot becomes dislodged, you can experience severe pain from the exposed nerves and bone. Avoid vigorous activities for a few days, don’t drink anything through a straw, gently rinse your mouth with warm saltwater, and avoid touching the extraction site with your toothbrush. If you begin to experience any symptoms of dry socket, including intense pain at the extraction site that radiates to your eyes and forehead, foul breath or a foul taste in your mouth or a noticeably empty socket, contact our office and we’ll be able to get you back on track to a healthy smile.
Rebuild Your Jawbone
As the foundation of your teeth, a strong jawbone is crucial to a great smile. If decay or missing teeth compromise or harm your jawbone, it can alter your unique facial appearance and curb your enjoyment of eating, speaking, smiling, and just plain feeling good about yourself. With broad training in restorative dentistry, our accomplished dentists at Bela Family Dentistry are proficient in reconstructing jawbones with natural materials and specialized bone grafting. With full jawbone mass, you can become a candidate for dental implants and restore one or many teeth—and the health, function, and beauty of your smile—for good!
Convenient and Comprehensive Care
We’ll carry out your bone grafting procedure in a technology-equipped treatment room here at Bela Family Dentistry. For this, we use low-radiation 3D cone beam CT equipment, advanced surgical techniques, and other technology to deliver predictable, long-lasting results. Your comfort is also top priority here. We can provide multiple sedation options in our office to maintain your safety and relaxation during the procedure. Your bone grafting treatment and all treatments related to dental implants can be completed here in one office, adding convenience to high-quality, efficient care!
